QualiaSoup has several videos explaining probability and logic. I've seen this one before, and when wimp had it up, I almost woke my wife when I muttered "yes!"
Just recently I finished reading Anathem (yes I know, it's fiction, but on this one I made an exception) One of its underlying themes is how powerful logic can be.
Standing on a stack of library books, head high with bottle thick glasses glinting on a single shaft of light, calculator raised in defiance while my well read wife is wrapped suggestively around my legs... I. Am. Nerd!
