The company that makes these is called Argo Medical Technologies. With all the recent advances in manufacturing, I see no reason that the price on these things could not come down until they are close to the same price as say, a medical scooter.
The battle cry of technological advancement in the field of medicine, longevity, and quality of life has already been coined by Glenn Reynolds.
