You can get your DNA sequenced for 200 bucks

23and me is a website that will mail you a kit, process the returned saliva swab, and send you a detailed DNA analysis, as well as regular updates as we learn more about what the sequencing reveals.

The AMA doesn't like this.  The basic argument is that you should go to a doctor and pay him, instead of licking a cotton swab and mailing it off yourself. Because a doctor is more doctory or something, and you can't handle reading your own genetic report. There might be stuff in there that would upset you. So they are trying to get these sort of sites shut down before people learn too much, I guess.

Futurepundit feels rather strongly about this issue, and wants everyone who is interested to spread the word.. So I am.
