People may agree or disagree with the social labels I put on these four, but if you read those four books, and check in on the websites once in a while, (using the labels as filters) you will have a fairly solid foundation on at least four ways to see the near future, and a lot of the revolutions and social upheaval in the world will make a lot more sense.
