pop up books and paper engineering

Some of my hobbies are Origami, Kirigami, Paper Engineering, Origamic Architecture and Paper Craft.... They are all variations on the same theme... Taking paper and folding or cutting or shaping or gluing, or some combination of all of them, to take  single flat planes, and transform them into three dimensional structures. I started Origami when I was about  twelve years old. The first book I ever bought with my own money was Creative Origami by Kunihiko Kasahara. I've been folding ever since.

This video I found via neatorama this morning, and is an excellent introduction to pop up books.
